Fire Blankets

LIFECO Fire blankets specifically designed and manufactured to European standards. They are ideal, highly effective for domestic and industrial fire involving flammable liquids such as cooking oils etc. Manufactured from glass fibre and coated with flame retardant silicone rubber which provides a durable product for fire blanket application.

They are extremely flexible and have better drapability than ever before whilst the efficient and durable fire blankets give outstanding extinguishing power. When draped over a fire, the blanket starves the fire of oxygen leading to rapid extinction. Lifeco fire blankets can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothes are on fire and can also be used to wrap around a hot or burning object for removal to a safe place.

Lifeco fire blankets are fitted with flame proof handles and uses kevlr thread to ensure the blanket retains its integrity, giving the user confidence in the fiercest of fires. Lifeco fire blankets are fully approved and independently tested to BS EN 1869:1997 and BSI kite marked.
